“Under Governor Kelly, Kansas’ economy is growing, and our state is open for business.”
TOPEKA – Today, Governor Laura Kelly’s campaign released the latest ad of the election cycle, “For Generations to Come.” The six-figure ad buy will run across the state and highlights Governor Kelly’s bipartisan success in attracting the largest business investment project in the state’s history. The Panasonic deal will bring over 4,000 well-paying jobs and over $4 billion in new business investment to Kansas, uplifting the entire state.
Throughout her first term, Governor Kelly worked with legislators from both parties to invest in Kansas’ future. She has secured over $14 billion in new business investment and created and retained over 51,000 new jobs.
“Our administration has been working tirelessly to right the ship when it comes to Kansas’ economy,” Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland said. “Businesses want to come to Kansas now because they can trust Governor Kelly’s steady hand at the wheel. That means more jobs for working families, a better economy, and more funds we can use to responsibly cut taxes for Kansans. We’ve done incredible work, but we must fight to keep our economy growing and stable.”
