Senator Kassebaum Joins Republican Governor Bill Graves, Republican Governor Mike Hayden, and Republican U.S. Senator Sheila Frahm Supporting Governor Laura Kelly
TOPEKA – United States Senator Nancy Kassebaum endorsed Governor Laura Kelly for reelection. Lifelong Kansan Nancy Kassebaum represented Kansas in the U.S. Senate for nearly two decades, serving from 1978 to 1997.
“Governor Laura Kelly has shown time and again she is willing to work with both sides of the aisle for solutions to real problems,” Senator Nancy Kassebaum said. “She continues to rise above partisan politics to do what is right for Kansas — she has the leadership qualities needed to continue leading the state. I’m proud to join her team to build a better future for Kansas.”
